Our mission is simple: to make contemporary dance accessible to all adults, regardless of age or background. Our approach is a framework of consistent groups that go through a learning and training process over time which allows for in-depth, intimate group and personal work. Bona is more than just a dance school; It is a community that celebrates the inclusivity and passion for dance. We are expanding throughout Europe with highly professional teachers, we offer a unique combination of courses in contemporary and modern dance, improvisation, contact improvisation, alongside movement and somatic work.

What will you learn ?

Designed for beginners, the dance courses introduce the fundamentals in a supportive, non-judgmental space. It’s a place to explore, make mistakes, and leave each class feeling accomplished. You’ll start with the essentials: body awareness, spatial understanding, group dynamics, modern dance principles, posture, and musicality. As the course progresses, you’ll dive deeper into dance techniques, including floorwork and the balance between softness and strength.

Our Teachers in Berlin

Andriana Seecker- Contemporary Dance

Andriana is a Dancer, Performer, Choreographer, Stagedesigner. She studied Dance and Stagedesign in Berlin (Universität der Künste, Tanzakademie Balance1). She was part and co-founder of NIGHTMARE BEFORE VALENTINE. Since 2011 she worked with the Swedish Theatre Collectiv INSTITUTET and with the french Group IRMAR. Since 2014 she works as an independent dancer, choreographer and teacher with different directors and artists for various Dance – and Theatreproductions/Institutions in Europe. In her works and classes, she tries to find a movement language and images that enable her to get into an embodied communication with audience and students. She wishes to open up a space where people can feel invited to go on their own inner journey in a safe environment which makes it possible to meet ones own vulnerability, sensuality, fear, hope and joy.

Sharon Zuckerman Weiser- Improvisation

Sharon Zuckerman Weiser is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Berlin. She graduated from P.A.R.T.S. (Belgium) with a focus on choreography and holds an MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Sharon has collaborated with a wide range of dance and theatre artists and has presented her work internationally. Alongside her artistic practice, she is an experienced pedagogue and has founded and led educational programs for contemporary performers. In recent years, she has been teaching at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance), focusing on improvisation, dramaturgy, creativity and performative tools, with an emphasis on embodied awareness, process and joyful exploration of movement.

Nicole Nigro- Contemporary Dance

Nicole is a Berlin-based dance and theatre artist, facilitator, and mother. She trained at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre and York University, later completing postgraduate studies with The Royal Academy of Dance (UK) and an MFA in Physical Theatre (IT/US). Her work has been presented across Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the US, including collaborations with Anandam Dancetheatre, The Danny Grossman Dance Company, Divadlo Continuo, and Peggy Baker Dance Projects. As an educator, she has taught at York University, Rose Bruford College, Balance 1 Dance Academy, and the Berlin Summer University of the Arts. Her practice interlaces dance, somatics, voice, and physical theatre to explore perception, memory, and human connection.

Comfort is key! We recommend wearing clothing that allows you to move freely. Flexible workout attire, such as leggings, t-shirts, or comfortable pants, is ideal.
