?Why Contakids

ContaKids is much more than a class – it’s a unique opportunity to strengthen the bond between parent and child in a meaningful, fun, and engaging way.

The method is based on movement, touch, and play, creating a space where parents and children work together without screens or distractions.

Through structured exercises and contact improvisation, children develop self-confidence, motor skills, and independence, while parents learn to listen, trust, and savor the small, shared moments.

Our teachers report powerful and moving feedback from parents, a fulfilling and meaningful career path, and growing demand for new classes and workshops – a testament to the broad impact of the method!

FAQ

Yes, it is absolutely possible to begin teaching right after the training. Many participants across Europe have successfully started their own classes shortly after completing the course. For many, this has become a meaningful source of income and a significant step in their career development. The training provides all the tools, knowledge, and support needed to confidently start leading parent-child movement classes.
Definitely not! :). You can be a great ck teacher if you are a parent as well as if you are not!
ContaKids courses are designed for toddlers aged 2 to 5, who participate alongside their parents. While the training primarily focuses on this age group, it emphasizes the unique group dynamics and how to create a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels comfortable. Once teachers develop these skills, they can adapt them to work with a variety of age groups, both younger and older.
No, the training is for adults only due to its intensive nature. It includes theoretical classes, discussions, and simulations, requiring full concentration from participants. However, there will be two demonstration classes with local parents and their children, allowing participants to observe and apply what they’ve learned. Simulations during the course will be conducted with other participants, not with real children.
It’s possible to come with your children, as long as they are cared for by another parent or caregiver during training hours. It’s essential that all participants remain focused and relaxed throughout the course. Your child is welcome to join the open demonstration classes, but they must be accompanied by their caregiver at all times. You can contact us regarding more information about that.
